Sara's voice can be described as lyric with an impressive and firmly grounded range of coloratura and dramatic qualities. She has a Master’s Degree in Vocal Performance with Departmental Distinction from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, where she studied with the talented mezzo and vocal department chair Wendy Hillhouse and a Bachelor’s Degree in Vocal Performance from St Olaf College in Minnesota, cum laude. Her operatic soprano lead roles include Suor Angelica, in the title role of this Puccini opera for the Festi’Val de Musique Valois in Provence in 2017 and the lead role of Mrs Waters in Ethel Smyth's 'The Boatswain's Mate' with St Albans Chamber Opera, 2019. Upcoming engagements include the role of Pamina in 2021 with SACO.
